Yugoslavia – A client wanted to surprise her husband, who had lived much of his life in Yugoslavia, with a special gift. She gathered pieces of family history from relatives, and together we researched the locations of towns and photographs of some of the landmarks of his life—where he was baptized, vacationed as a boy, attended college and so on—and of his parents and grandparents. After he received the map, he said it would help him to share his past with his children.
